What made your Windows 7 screen black are some invalid registry keys, possibly due to malware tinkering with your system files. It might also be cause by some obsolete software you have that replaced your registry entries with older versions. Before you grab that Windows 7 disc from your cabinet and reinstall, read this short guide that will help you fix black screen problems on your PC.

1. Restart the computer and log on. Wait for the black screen to show up.
2. Connect to the Internet. The black screen problem does not seem to affect your Web connection as far as we know, but do check if you can connect.
3. Hit Ctrl, Alt and Del at the same time to bring out the Task Manager.
4. Click the Application Tab and select New Task.
5. Enter this command: "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" "http://info.prevx.com/download.asp?GRAB=BLACKSCREENFIX". This command will use Internet Explorer to download the fix.

Ive been looking into getting hosting recently as I need a package that will let me host several small domains without having to worry too much about spreading them out across different control systems. Which is something you guys seem to offer beyond the normal 3 domain limit I've been running into elsewhere.

What I was wondering is if one of the sites starts seeing a heavy amount of hits, how difficult is it to upgrade my hosting package ?

Also will we get plenty of warnings before our sites are taken down for passing allocated bandwidth ? Or will we just be presented with the news after the fact ?

Any advise would be appreciated.

FAQ

I need more space/bandwidth?
We only offer one ONE lifetime account. If you’d like to upgrade to one of our other ONE plans (ONE lite/ONE standard/ONE premium/ONE extreme) with or without additional layers, we will credit your new account 3 X the monthly rate of the new plan and close your ONE lifetime account. In order for this credit to apply, you may not have purchased your original lifetime account with a coupon or use a coupon to upgrade to the new plan.

Can I get reseller access?
Unfortunately, we don’t offer reseller access with our ONE lifetime plan. If you’re interested in reseller hosting, please see our ONE standard and ONE premium plans.

Can I get SSH access?
No. Currently at this time we are not offering SSH access on these accounts.

Can I get a dedicated IP?
Because of the monthly fee associated with dedicated IPs, this is not available on a one-payment plan like our ONE lifetime plan.

Do you allow adult content?
No, we don’t allow any adult content of any kind.

Are there any hidden fees/costs?
Nope. Once you’ve paid, you’ll never receive another bill from us again for that account!

How long before I get my account?
Once payment is received and our fraud checks completed, you will be sent a “welcome” email with all of your account information. This usually happens relatively quickly after payment.
